I drank this entire bag in less than a week

YJuly 4, 2025

I thoroughly enjoyed this way more than I was anticipating to. I will admit that the product's packaging does require a bit more work as it does not meet the level of quality of the matcha itself. However, that is besides the point. The matcha is packaged in 10 individual packs which make them perfect as an on-the-go option or for people who need the convenience of their matcha being pre-portioned. I actually ended up cutting all the sticks open and pouring them into my own matcha cannister since I like to measure my matcha myself. I was very surprised with the quality of the powder. I tried a serving without sifting since the powder appeared to be so fine. Turns out that the powder was so fine, there were no clumps to even break apart in the first place. The paste texture when adding the first bit of water was silky smooth and after adding the rest of the water, the mixture frothed beautifully. The taste was not so bitter even when my servings were on the chaotic side. It's mild and Earthy and you can drink it on its own or over milk and it would taste fantastic either way. Read more

Fine powder with expected matcha slight grassiness

JenJune 30, 2025

The matcha powder came in perfect condition and was well-sealed in a foil pouch inside a reclosable metal storage tin. It is a very fine powder (like flour) with a light green color. I didn't have any issues with clumping. The flavor is slightly grassy, but otherwise a green tea flavor (as expected). It tasted smooth. It is the weight described. Read more
