I decided to start making matcha at home because I order matcha lattes far too often. I wasn't trying to get ceremonial matcha because I doubt I would know the difference, anyway. I think this matcha is good. It came with a little scoop that seemed like 2 scoops was enough for a cup of liquid, and I found it useful that the scoop was shaped perfectly for pushing the matcha through a sifter. This is good value for the amount you get for casual matcha consumption. It's certainly not the best quality matcha you can get out there, but it froths well and is overall what you would hope to get out of such a product. It does leave a bitter aftertaste that has me not putting this in top tier matchas that I've had in the past. The spoon it comes with will of course be covered in matcha soot, but it's nice that it comes with one at all, and it's a convenient tool for scooping it from the bag that I appreciate as I currently would not bother moving this to one of my few matcha containers.
