Let’s be real — I know exactly why I break out. My food choices aren’t the cleanest, and high fructose corn syrup is enemy #1 when it comes to my skin. But even knowing that, I still needed something that could help manage the breakouts when they happen. That’s where these charcoal cleansing bars come in. Do I like them? Yes. Have I noticed a difference? Also yes. Would I buy them again? Probably yes. Compared to what my skin looked and felt like before, these bars have made a noticeable difference. My breakouts dry up and heal faster, and the redness goes down more quickly than it used to. It doesn’t overly dry my face out either — instead, it kind of encourages that gentle exfoliation effect, like the top layer of irritated skin naturally flakes off rather than clinging to my face for days. If I can dig up some before-and-after pics, I’ll definitely post them. But even without those, I can confidently say this bar works, and it’s worth a try if you’re struggling with acne-prone skin — even when your breakouts are mostly your own doing (guilty as charged). Great soap! Dove was giving me acne so I decided to switch to something more geared toward skin care not just soap. Arrived quick and was well packaged Noticed improvement after the first use, my skins not so oily anymore and the acne has started to subside! Will definitely be buying again but probably not soon as the bar is twice the size of my normal face soap so I imagine it will last a while!! Read more

I wish I had known about the use of salicylic acid for acne prevention a long time ago. This soap has changed my life just in the last week or so since I've started using it.
