You really can't go wrong with Egyptian cotton, it's the best there is. Sure, this is only an 800 thread count (you'll pay way more money for 1000 or 1200 thread counts), but the sheets are absolutely sturdy and well made, not to mention good to the touch. I have a 14" mattress with a 3" foam topper and these sheets fit near perfect. Do note that these are 18" deep pockets on the fitted sheet with this product. These sheets are so thick and soft. When I washed them before putting them on beds, there was barely any lint in the dryer vent. So happy they had twin XL size because they for perfectly. These sheets are truly amazing, I can't say enough! We put purchased Cal King set with extra set of pillowcases. Textiles are one of my hobbies. I used to repair and frame for display antique and ethnographic textiles professionally. These sheets are beautiful Egyptian cotton, so soft and comfortable to the skin. There is a soft sheen to the surface. The color (Burgundy) is pure and clean, not too red, not too blue, not too yellow, absolutely spot on. The stitching is perfect, even, smooth, no loose ends. No extra hemming detail that will eventually need pressing and stitching that comes loose from use. I plan to rinse in cold water with a 1/4 white vinegar to set the dye. Wow!! I love these sheets! I have been searching for these sheets for a long time and have purchase at least 5 different brands and they are never REAL Egyptian cotton. Plus to make matters worse the fit was never right. However these give you ample fabric which allows you to pull the sheet completely over the mattress and you actually have enough of the flat sheet to tuck in too!! The fabric has a good quality of thickness, not that cheap paper thin kind. The feel is cool and silky. I can’t wait to go to bed every night! Read more

The sheets have a nice weight and color but the top sheet doesn’t cover the mattress enough to tuck it in. We have a 14” mattress and the sheet goes to the bottom of the mattress barely on the sides. We have a king sized bed. Read more
