Important life advice: don't skimp on anything that goes between you and the ground; whether that's tires, a mattress, or shoes. These shoes are worth their price. I can't say enough nice things about ASICS Cumulus shoes, just outstanding, *for me*. If you've loved the Cumulus shoes in the past, you will love these. If you love the Nimbus, you will love these. These 27s seem even lighter, even more snug-in-a-good-way, even more cushion-y. It could be all in my head since they're new, but man oh man are these shoes amazing to me. There's a reason the popular colors and sizes always seem sold out, people love these! Get 'em before they're gone. I just love the light blue & orange color (technically "Saba Blue/White"). I've read that the Nimbus model is supposed to be the better, more cushioned shoe but I disagree, I've had a few pairs of both of them over the years and I'm here to say these Cumulus (Cumuli?) are where it's at! I have been seeing a podiatrist for a pain under the middle toe of my foot. He has had me using a pad to relieve the pressure from walking. I see him next week to discuss a orthodic insole. I began to think that walking a mile each day was having a negative impact on my feet. I did some research to find a walking shoe that would support my feet. I had been wearing top of the line Skechers. I did some research on the best walking shoes and found this ASICS Gel-Cumulus 27 shoe. The ASICS Cumulus 27 is more firm than the current Nimbus but it’s also lighter. This shoe makes you want to run or walk fast because it’s comfortable, stable and light weight. The paper thin tongue is not my favorite but that’s the direction Asics is going with their shoes. If this shoe were a tad softer but not as soft as the Nimbus it would be perfect. Incredibly comfortable, fairly light weight, breathable and great for short or long runs, especially if you are starting back up after taking time off from running. Remember to stretch! The durability seems good as I have been using this shoe almost daily for months. Coloured souls look better for much longer than white...something to think about as these are fairly pricey! Width seems ok, much better than the HOKA I tried on. The only thing I did not like was the pressure from the top laces through the tongue of the shoe. They should have padded that a bit better, but you can use thicker socks and its fine. Read more

If you're looking for a shoe with good cushion that eases impact and holds up well, this Gel-Cumulus pair meets the mark. Comfortable shoes I have worn a lot, both for casual use and run/walk. Overall solid support and comfortable fit. They have held up well, the tread/outsole provides good traction and the wear has been minimal considering the amount of use. The build quality is on point and you can't miss the color! Now the only downside (minor thing if you know how to clean your shoes). They show dirt (ect) and scuffs fairly easily.
