For background, I have been running in the Kayano 31 and really enjoy them. Naturally, I needed to add the 32 into my rotation. Overall, it’s a great shoe for me and I find it all around more comfortable than the Kayano 31, while offering a great running experience. Technically, I don’t NEED a stability shoe but that doesn’t stop me from running in the Kayano 32. I like the ankle and heel support this shoe offers. I always feel snug and secure. While I don’t excessively overpronate, I do like how the 4D Guidance system helps me feel more confident in how my foot is striking the ground. One of my complaints about the Kayano 31 was about the lack of support in the forefoot and compression in the toe box - even in an extra wide size. These issues have been corrected in the Kayano 32. The added foam under the forefoot tremendously improves the running comfort and the slight changes to the toe box and/or upper allow my toes to spread much more freely and have alleviated the hot spot on my little toe. The only aspect of the Kayano 32 that left me disappointed was the decision to move away from the more padded tongue and to the thin, stretchy tongue that’s used on the other ASICS models. I have a higher instep and this allows the laces to create a pressure point more easily. I also don’t like the giant loop at the top of the tongue that serves as the catch point for the laces. Finally I was able to find size 14 W shoes. ASICS is the only brand I can wear. These shoes are comfortable, light, flexible, fit perfectly, and from previous experience I know they are durable. It feels like walking on pillows. I am 246 Lb. with diabetic issues when walking. Read more
I've been buying the Kayano shoes for years. These have a better tongue design with a large easy to grip loop on top that can serve as a retainer for the folded up shoe laces to avoid dragging the long laces. The top of the heel loop is very convenient when putting them on. Great for walking, good traction and high quality shoes Read more
I've had these for almost 4 months now and am extremely satisfied. I've owned several Gel-Kayano models over the years, the last being the 28 model. These model 32s offer welcome improvements over the 28 model. They seem to have more stability and cushion and I really like the loops that have been added to make entry and exit easier. Will continue to buy ASICS in the future as long as they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever used. I am an over-weight senior, so really comfortable shoes are not easy to find. Read more
I've consistently run in Gel Kayanos for over 25 years. In fact, I used to work at a popular sneaker chain that sold them. I told customers that they were the "Lamborghini of running shoes"...and they still are. Asics continues the upward trend with the 32s. They're extremely lightweight, breathable, durable, and comfortable. I'm mostly using them for treadmill work, but they'd be fine for distance running and outdoor training, too. I really can't recommend them enough. If you're on the fence about their price, don't be...they're worth every cent and more. Zero complaints here. Read more
These shoes are very comfortable with a big boxtoe. I have flat feet and need stability which this shoe provides. Also it is not a heavy shoe and has a loop on the tongue which is great because I can pull it upward without untying the shoelace. I am on the treadmill almost every morning and these shoes are very good. Read more
These are well cushioned and comfortable to wear for walking, but began to peel on the bottom after a few months of regular wear (late August - mid November). I walked decent distances, but these were never used for high-impact running. I expected much higher quality and durability for the very high price. I would not purchase these again. Read more
Fifteen plus years ago I was fitted at a running store for running shoes. They told me I overpronate while jogging and suggested the Asics Gel GT-2000. They felt good and I wore them for a couple years. Fast forward to today, I researched stability running shoes and the Kayano-32 came up high on many reviews and seemed to fit my needs. I bought them and out of the box they felt quite comfortable. I went for a 2.5 mile walk in them and I started feeling cramps on my arches. The support seemed to be too much. I kept them because I hoped they'd break in or my feet would get used to them. I haven't got there yet. They're good for me for short periods of time, but I have to change into a different shoe. They look nice. The fit is true to size. They feel and look like typical good quality Asics shoes, but I have worn them infrequently since buying them. Read more
