Perfect for my space!
I was very happy when I received this rug and even happier once I had it in its intended space. I have a farmhouse with a big enclosed front porch and this rug fit perfectly and blended in with all of my modern farmhouse furnishings. This rug lays flat to the ground, so there is minimal risk of tripping, which is critical for me. The edges/hem of this rug are all even and finished and there are no loose threads. The pattern was consistent throughout and it really is just a very nice rug. It is true to its listed size and has been so easy to clean! I feel very comfortable recommending this rug to others. Very soft surface that is smooth to the touch. Thin. Has a rubberized backing that is anti-slip.
The 5x7 Asrug Moroccan area rug seems nicely constructed, albeit thinner than I would have liked. We have it running along the length of our full-sized sofa in the family room, and it stays in place on our relatively smooth hard floor with the ottoman on top. It has held up nicely the last couple weeks and I have seen no noticeable shedding, despite some abuse from the teenagers in our house. Overall, the design is nice, but I would have liked more symmetry in the pattern now that I'm able to see it up close. More padding would also have been nice since it does not provide any buffer when laying on it on top of a hard floor. It is a little small for being in front of a sofa, and I'd recommend sizing up to at least a 6x8 if placing in front of a full-sized sofa. Given the nice construction and soft feel, it is definitely a 4-star product that works well on a hard floor given the rubberized backing. Only one star is removed given the thinness of the material.
