It has really changed me from the inside out Read more
I've wanted to try this supplement for awhile after seeing it mentioned frequently. So often it was astaxanthin in conjunction with something else I didn't necessarily have an interest in. I also prefer to try something on its own so I can tell if it's performing well for me or if I have a negative reaction. I've taken this for three weeks now, one daily, so it's too early to say if it's an improvement in the areas I was curious about but I'm going to keep taking it and find out. Nothing is an miracle, after all. The reasons I plan to keep taking it are - I have a difficult time swallowing pills. I chose this one because it is a soft gel, a pretty small one, but if I couldn't swallow it I could puncture it and take it as a liquid. This is what I decided to do just for ease of use for me. If you do this I suggest biting down on it instead of trying to make a hole or snip an end. I discovered it's a red color oily liquid so it's just less messy to squeeze between your teeth if you have an issue swallowing pills too. If you don't, this is a little one so you should have no issue at all. It has no taste (besides a mildly sweet taste to the soft gel itself) and I haven't noticed that dreaded aftertaste or indigestion of other supplements, especially marine based ones. I have a sensitive stomach to some supplements and I know in the first day or two if I can continue with them. I had absolutely no reaction to these so that was a big plus. I like that you get 120 so you have enough time to genuinely try them, especially at the 12mg strength. For me - the ease of use, lack of digestion upset and cost per dose makes this totally worth trying. It's also worth noting that they are soy, dairy, gluten and tree nut free, as per the label. It also is labeled vegan so the gelatin in the soft gel is not animal sourced. Read more

I wanted an easy way to support my eyes and skin without adding anything complicated to my routine, and this fit in seamlessly. One day while working through screens and errands, it felt good knowing I had a little extra daily support without needing to think about it 😊.Good value for money too. The softgels are easy to take and feel well-made, with a formula focused on antioxidant support from a natural source. Everything about it feels straightforward and dependable, from the consistency to how gentle it is overall. Nothing about it feels heavy or irritating, which makes it easy to keep in rotation 🌿👀. Overall, this is a solid, no-fuss supplement for general wellness support. Though I didn't see any real skin improvement💊 Read more

This is a pretty strong dose of astaxanthin, preventing the need to take multiple capsules. It comes with a 4-month supply, and is in a recloseable bag, my favorite type of packaging. They are very easy to take. I've had no GI problems at all from these. The price is fantastic for a 4-month supply. Recommended! Read more

I picked up this Astaxanthin 12mg supplement after going down one of those late night “what antioxidants are actually worth it” rabbit holes. You know the kind. Three tabs open, one cup of tea gone cold, and suddenly you are convinced your cells need support. Enter these little red softgels. First off, the basics. This is a 12mg dose per softgel, sourced from natural microalgae, and the bottle gives you 120 softgels, which works out to a solid four month supply. I appreciate not having to reorder supplements every five minutes. The softgels themselves are small and easy to swallow, no dramatic gag reflex moments required. Now for the technical bit, Astaxanthin is a carotenoid antioxidant, often hyped for its ability to help neutralize free radicals without flipping into pro oxidant mode. Translation in human terms, it helps mop up oxidative stress without causing new problems. It is often linked to eye health, skin elasticity, immune support, and even muscle recovery. Personally, I started noticing subtle changes after a few weeks. My eyes felt less strained after long screen days. My skin also seemed a bit more even and hydrated. Energy wise, I did not feel jittery or wired. This is not that kind of supplement. It feels more like background support, quietly doing its job while you go about your day. My immune system also seemed to behave itself, which is always appreciated, especially when everyone around you is coughing like it is a competitive sport. One thing I really like is the clean formulation. Natural microalgae source, no weird aftertaste, and no digestive drama. I usually take it with food since Astaxanthin is fat soluble, and it seems to absorb just fine that way. Read more
