These knives are very sharp! The handles are comfortable and there's a curved spot for the forefinger to make your grip secure. Very nice to use. The bread knife cut through a soft croissant without crushing it, and the utility knife slid easily through a tomato. I might have taken 1 star off for a slight defect in one knife, but gave it back for their customer service. They responded same day to my email and offered resolution within hours.
