Get the insurance!! I got it for my Keurig. It’s just suddenly stopped working. Put in a claim, and they issued me a refund as soon as I returned the product. Less than a week later I was able to repurchase my keurig, no extra cost to me. Excellent customer service! Read more
Attempted to file a claim within the time frame of the plan. Asurion made it extremely difficult to do this, wasted two hours. The plan doesn't say that you need to have keep and submitted copies of the purchase receipt for the item and it also doesn't state that your have to have to keep a copy of the Asurion receipt. They require you to send them photo copies of these receipts. They have all of this information in your Asurion account, including who you purchased the plan through (Amazon) but still require you to jump through all these hoops. In summary they will do everything possible to make it difficult you to file a claim and for them to have pay any claims. Read more
Update: Once I got human help I was able to return my Keurig and they sent my Amazon gift card so I could get a new one within a few hours after UPS confirmation. Paid for 3 year warranty on Keurig. It died after 14 months. Went to file a claim online and they denied it. Trying to reach someone by phone was impossible, but did finally get someone in chat. Sent required photos for proof. Got another request for same photos and sent them again. Will increase the rating if they actually honor the warranty soon Read more
I bought a protection plan for a clothes iron. The iron cost $199 and lasted for two years and seven months and then refused to heat. My email had changed when I bought that item and I could not resolve the claim online with Amazon. The staff from Asurion was extremely helpful in identify the problem with the different email address. My phone call was extremely useful and settling this claim within a couple hours. The purchase price was refunded to my Amazon account. I really appreciate the help. Read more
