This is an office monitor NOT a gaming monitor. If you understand that you will be very happy. I spent absolute ages looking for a USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ultrawide monitor for work that has a built in USB hub. There is nothing more convenient than just plugging a laptop into a USB-C and getting power and all peripherals connected. Gamers will tell you to get a KVM and dock and all kinds of other stuff and they're not wrong but when you're working a 9-5 in tech simplicity and convenience are king. There are a lot of good options for ultrawides from LG and other brands that do this, but for some insane reason they only have two USB ports in their built-in hub. I need ports for my mouse, keyboard, webcam, potentially usb dongle headset. Need 4 ports. This is literally the only option with more than 2 ports for under $800. And it's waaay under $800. And it's great. It has auto dimming which is wonderful and the stronger curve of the monitor is fantastic for being a medium distance away. The 100hz is just icing . Is it as good as 144hz? nah. But for productivity work it's really really good. Everything you need and then some. It has kind of adjustable height with the stand. You can choose between three heights. So no adjustment on the fly. But that's alright. So - if you're looking for the best USBC monitor to connect all your stuff to so you can just plug in your work laptop for a budget.. This is it. The negative reviews here so far are people looking for a gaming monitor or someone who doesn't know how to adjust their operating system scaling. Read more

What a difference. I purchased this screen to replace an older screen. I knew I would see some differences as the screen was a larger size. What I did not expect was the picture quality. It is exceptional. The colors appear to be accurate. Based on the build quality I expect it to be very durable. It has been very capable of running my games. This has been a great purchase. Read more
This review is for ASUS 27” 4K Business Monitor (VA27UQSB) - UHD 3840 x 2160. Wow for clarity and easy to view spreadsheet and text fonts! My previous monitor was only 1920x1080 resolution. Image quality is excellent. IPS tech so no worry about OLED burn in issues. No bad pixels found. Features are as advertised. Ergonomics adjustability is beyond most monitors (0 to 15 cm height adjustment, tilt, swivel, rotate) and well worth it. The built in speakers are adequate but I use external speakers anyway for better sound reproduction. Well worth getting and good value with a 3 year warranty versus other brands. Read more
I have 2x desktop monitors ... the older 24" 1080 and a newer 28" 4K monitor. While I do play some (older) RTS games, most of my work is plain, boring desktop type stuff ... email, web surfing (and watching too many online videos), command line programming (linux and bash), and playing mp3/mp4 files. Net result is that I'm more interested in the resolution and connectivity options (HDMI, DP) and not so much worried about scan rates, frame rates, IPS, HDR10, etc, etc, etc ... Getting fonts to scale correctly on a 4K monitor (especially in linux) takes some wrangling. When using a mix of 1080 and 4K monitors it's impossible to get the fonts right unless I limit each monitor to hosting specific pieces of software soooo, it was time to put the 1080 out to pasture. I've had good luck with Asus monitors over the last 10 years so when I came across this Asus monitor - with full range of motion stand - at a good price and near the same size as my current 4K monitor (27" vs 28" - close enough), it was an easy buy. I've only had the monitor for 5 months but so far so good. And the fact my custom software/font settings now work on both monitors is the cherry on top! Read more
Quality is fine. The backlight turns on in a delay when switching to a white background on computer. It’s like the left side of the screen turns on its backlight a second later than the right side. It’s weird never has this happen to a monitor before. Audio is terrible but it’s normal for this type of inexpensive monitor. The review is mainly for that backlight issue.
