This has been the best razor I’ve used hands down the smoothest, closest and safest shave! Each blade lasts me 1 week, I shave my legs, underarms etc. in the shower every night and use a shave oil because I have sensitive skin. No bumps or nicks with this brand. The razor handle provides a really good grip, it doesn’t slip out of my hand. The magnetic holder is great too, I have it stuck on my shower wall with no issues. The refill blades are priced reasonably when you buy the big pack and compared to other big name brands, these are just better quality. I highly recommend these even for sensitive skin. Read more

I originally used Billie until they changed their blades, so I have used Athena for about 4 years now. I had the gorgeous deep blue one, Athena is great with their color choices! Nothing was wrong with it, I just needed new blades and it was cheaper to get a new kit than just buying the 8 ct of razor heads. Plus, I wanted to be able to reattach my blade to my shower. I moved and because it's a sticky backing, I couldn't reattach to the new shower. These are only one use in that regard, but I prefer that to suction cups because those do not stay put. I really wish they gave a second sticky backup for this very reason. I went with this one because I love how bright and glowy it is and as far as I can tell, the handle and magnetic piece haven't changed. I will say I think the blades have changed. The moisture strip is now subpar, I used to be able to use the blades sans soap for a few weeks before I needed a buffer. Now by third use, it no longer glides on its own. I'll probably look for other blades once I'm out of refills because the handle is designed really well. Read more
