Great style, great price and a good Dr. M dupe. They have slip resistant soles which is my main reason for buying these. I had a knee reconstruction surgery and recovery is very long. I need non slip, non high heeled and comfortable. I can wear 6.5-7 women's, my feet are on the wider side but not wide width. I ordered a 7 and it fits great, long in the foot but I think 6.5 would be too narrow. They are on the narrow side but not too bad. No breaking in period needed, I even wore them to physical therapy since it's already snowing here. It's giving me grungy 90's vibes! Read more

I LOVE these boots! I had forgotten I'd ordered them and purchased a different pair in-store. Usually, I find those tried on in-store to be better, especially when the online brand is not a widely recognized one; that was not the case with these! They feel really sturdy, and actually have some support in them. Aesthetically, I absolutely love the look! They've a bit more of a masculine lookto them, which I prefer, and the metal rings the laces go through look cool as well. I was a little afraid of the processing of putting them on and off taking too much time and energy since there is no zipper, but the open rings make the laces quick and easy to adjust. I a typically an 8.5W in women's sneakers and ordered an 8.5 boot. While I can tell this is not a wide shoe, I am still able to wear them comfortably. There is plenty of foot room so they don't get tight if my feet swell, but somehow manage not to be so loose as to flop around. Excellent quality. Well made. True to size. Versatile to style. My profile: 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm) height, 146 pounds (66 kg) weight, Women size 9 Medium Width Construction: It is a high quality, somewhat flexible synthetic leather. Excellent materials. Great stitching. Flat laces. Reinforced toe. The insole is attached and not removable. If you like to add orthotic insoles, I suggest you go up a size. The sole is thick with lots of grooves and is non-slip. When I run my fingers along the bottom, it feels rubbery. I like that it is made with metal lace loops for extra sturdiness and that the laces are long enough to tie properly. Design: It is as close to the original Doc Marten boot style that I could find in the black color. It has a loop at the top of the back that you can use to help put on the shoe as well as to loop a rope through it to hang on the back if a backpack or for hanging to dry after cleaning. I like that there are no extra straps, buckles or decorative touches. I just wanted something classic and simple. This shoe styles well with pants, mini skirts and dresses for that edgy, streetwear look. It has a modest 2-inch heel with the entire sole being elevated with the 1-inch thickness. It is a great, stealthy way to add some height without it feeling like wearing heels. It seems to be water repellant but does not claim to be water proof. There is no side zipper. Comfort: The default insole was comfortable. I have feet that probate slightly so sometimes, I wear extra full or partial orthotic insoles for arch support. I felt comfortable enough without feeling the need add anything extra. Over all, it is an excellent value for the price. It seems like it would last 10-15 years easily with normal use. It is versatile to style with many types of clothing. You can style it up or down. It does not make your feet look bigger. It looks rugged without looking too masculine for a combat style boot. I don’t usually bother with reviews but this was a great purchase! I bought these boots for the style- they look IDENTICAL to the $208 pair of Sorels that I almost bought but I couldn’t justify spending that much on a boot I would only wear with a few outfits. These were only $27 with the click to redeem coupon and I was actually surprised at the quality. They are SUPER comfortable and true to size. I’ll definitely be wearing them more than expected and I was thrilled the price was so low. If you’re looking for a stylish, classic combat boot, these were a steal without looking cheap. Read more

After reviewing MANY other boots - I decided upon these and I’m so pleased that I did! I’m a size 7.5 shoe, I ordered the boot in Black size 7.5 and they fit perfectly even with knee socks. I wore them for close to 6 hours (running errands) with no issues. Next day, I took a walk for two hours and still no discomfort. I was a bit hesitant due to I had cracked a bone in my foot 2 years ago and was taking a chance. I am very happy I took the chance. No pain at all. Cushioning is good. I have no idea if they’re waterproof due to I wear my Wellie’s if it’s raining. The quality of this boot is excellent and I will not hesitate to order another pair. As far as creases near the toe …nope, there are none. The boots were wrapped in individual bags, with an inserts to retain their shape. Very impressed with quality of boots and the packaging.
