I also needed them for several purposes. They were not purchased for their looks, although they actually look very ordinary. I needed some shorts to wear around the house, and so did my young adult son. It just so happens that his size shorts will fit me, since they are loose and have an elastic waistband. So I divided them between us. They look perfectly acceptable in public on a young man, who goes out in a t-shirt or hoodie. And they worked fine for me to wear at home while doing my housework.
