Sometimes I wish I could send the smell or feel of something to someone so they can have the ability to experience what I am! This sweater came out of the package without an off putting odor but immediately I felt how incredibly soft and smooth it was! This has been knotted with a high quality yarn and has also been done on a quality knitting machine. The buttons are thin but sized to fit the ribbing of the sweater. They are solid four button hole buttons that are anchored down securely👍 I found no loose threads or yarn hanging anywhere that might unravel down the line at an inopportune moment! Isn’t it embarrassing when that loose thread opens up a big seam or makes a button pop loose in a revealing place? I always check for this type of things and this one passes with flying colors! By the way, this is a very pure white color sweater. I am not short or long waisted but I’m just 5’2” tall. I wear a 40C bra and have a barrel sized mid section. I chose an Xl and this is very loose fitting and falls down at my hips. This is far from a crop knit sweater unless you’re a very unusually long waisted person! If I happen to be significantly larger and this fit me more snuggly then this might fall closer to my waistline. The sleeves are probably a little longer than average. I have to roll most over so they don’t hang obverse past my fingertips and these sleeves are the same. I’m already wearing this as an extra layer of warmth over my nightgown while I sit in bed working. The fit and softness is conducive to comfort that I could easily snuggle down under the covers without taking it off when I get drowsy and sleep well thru the night😴 This was not my intended use for this sweater but the sudden chill in the Adirondack night coincided with the opening of the package this sweater arrived in😂 It seems to be well made enough that I will still be in nice shape for me to be able to wear it over sleeveless outfits to stay warm on chilly nights outdoors in the spring and summer. I am on the busty side with long arms , a long torso, and a flat tummy. With those varying proportions, it is sometimes hard to find sweaters that fit to my liking. I am happy to say that this sweater fits me well in all the right places and looks great. The fabric is nice and soft without being stiff, scratchy or easily wrinkled. I had reservations about the price, but this cardigan is worth it. Although it is made of only synthetic materials, the fabric feels like cotton and is thicker than most summer cardigans. I ordered the large. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I don’t think it was this. Seriously so cute and versatile. I wore it yesterday with wide leg jeans and today with pleather pants. Will definitely be a new staple, I think if you do wardrobe closet this could definitely fit. I am generally a size 12 and have a fairly large bust, and the large still fits well. I also have a little bigger arms and I think it fit well. I would say it’s maybe slightly oversized? Sleeves weren’t too long and I thought got the length was flattering. I also stayed fairly warm in this walking in 50 degree weather. I can’t speak to if it will pick easy or not. I did wash before wearing and it washed well. This cardigan is so soft and comfortable to wear! I wouldn’t quite call it a crop top, but sits right above your hip or waist. For the fit, it does run a tad big, so for a more fitted look, I would recommend ordering a size down. The material is absolutely amazing, buttery soft and smooth, it’s a little bit on the thicker side, but not over heating you. It has a good stretch to it as well. I love this sweater! This is the softest, most beautiful black sweater that I’ve ever worn. I ordered it to wear to work but upon receiving it I was blown away by how luxurious it is. It’s a classic piece that can be dressed up or worn with jeans and a T-shirt, it has a shorter length that hits at the waist and it would look great no matter what size you are.
