Excellent. Connectors and Casing are Very High Quality.
The media could not be loaded. Discussion: Before I get going this is an optical cable. Make sure both devices you connect this to have digital audio (optical) connectors. Both must have one. Requested this to replace a dinky optical cable that came with my sound bar. The difference between this product and my old dinky cable can be clearly seen in the video. This product professes to be professional grade and it certainly looks the part. Installation is fairly simple. Remember both ends are an optical connector. There are little clear protective covers on both ends THAT MUST BE REMOVED PRIOR TO INSERTING THIS CABLE INTO YOUR DEVICE. This is very important because if you don't remove the covers not only will this not work but there is potential to get those covers stuck in your device which could either be very inconvenient or damage it. Typically optical cables like this either work or they don't. The signal transmission from one end to another is accomplished via light projected through the cable. To install I plugged one end of this into my TV and the other into my sound bar. Result? Nice clear sound. Doesn't get much easier than that. Where a cable like this really shines is when it's used as part of a high end home theater or audio setup. I also believe this will be more resistant to pet damage - pets typically like to chew on thin rubber wires and not thick fabric ones. Pros: -- Connectors and casing certainly look pro -- Simple plug and play -- Believe it will be more resistant to pet damage -- Makes home theater / stereo look really nice -- Ends have protectors to keep terminals clean prior to installation Cons: -- None that I can see Bottom Line: A super nice cable that is easy to install, works well and will dress up any installation. Easy to recommend. Read more
