Trying to find something to hold large phones at times becomes difficult because of the weight at the tip with such a small base. Setting this up is simple. Having the base with a button at the end allows the legs to spread out for the stability. It is not alot so dont expect this to stay put with a phone on top if it gets bumped. Putting this on a non level surface does not work either. No adjustments to compensate for the level. Pulling it out has some resistance and that is good because it just won't fall back in. When I pull it all they way out the phone is actually taller than me and would come in handy at times just not all the time. It also comes in handy that way with the legs in and using this as a selfie stick. With the phone at the end does cause more weight because of leverage so maybe not holding it with one hand when it is fully extended. I like that there is a remote that gets paired to the phone that I can hold and when making a good pucture I can just hit a button and the phone will take the pucture or even switch to a video taking. I like the little one that can mount on the tip of this tripod and when activated it will focus on my face to keep me centered. Only thing is I dont use it much. I do like that I dont have to change batteries just charge it up. The little light on the tip dont hold a charge that much at all. I charge it up and the next thing I know when I want to use the light part is the battery is dead. The little or mini tripod also can be a stand alone pod so setting it on a table is nice. As far I can tell this is quality made. I dont know what it totally made from but this is not going anywhere as finding a fault in it. It may be on the expensive side and since I have been using it now for a while it sure seems to be it is worth it. I just have to hope it does not break or misplace it somewhere. Read more

This is a pretty cool item. I honestly did not think I would ever want something like this, but after trying it out, it is actually pretty neat. The value for the money is good. The overall quality is decent. It is not super high end, but it is far from junk. It feels sturdy enough for normal use. The tripod legs are a little on the low end, but they do function. The height is fine for what it is, though it does not go super high. It is extremely portable, which is one of its best features. You can pack it up and take it anywhere without any hassle. The only real disappointment for me is the auto face tracking. I did try it a few times, and while it works if you move slowly, it definitely does not follow faster movement or walking very well. If you get too far away, it loses you and starts turning around like it is trying to figure out where you went. I think the tracking is probably meant more for someone sitting at a desk or staying in a small area, not walking around a room. The instruction booklet got wet, so I could not really dive into any settings. It is possible there are adjustments that make it better, but out of the box, tracking is limited. Overall though, it is a fun and handy little tripod. It is portable, the light is useful, it is sturdy enough for casual content creation, and the value is solid.
