The 360-degree auto tracking is everything. I can actually move while I film! It's so fluid it looks edited. I finally feel free in my own videos instead of being a stiff talking head. No App, YES? this works right out of the box. My phone just sits there, being a camera, while the tripod's own little brain does the tracking. It's brilliantly simple. The gesture control (a okay sign! 👌) to start and stop recording never gets old. It feels like a superpower. The remotes is also super handy for group photos or starting a recording form my couch. Getting this level of "assistant director" in a portable stand that also extends as a selfie stick is incredible. I purchased this last minute for a New Years Eve party and it worked perfectly! The face tracker works really well and follows my face throughout the whole room. I love that it can be handheld as well as a tripod. It comes with a remote so you can take selfies. I have an iPhone and my husband has an Android and it worked perfectly with both phones.
