DON'T BUY THIS CHEAP THING! It does NOT do what it's advertised to do. This thing is a nail buffer at best and does NOT clip or have storage for nail clippings. It's best for buffing out nail ridges and discoloration, not cutting down nails. It only has a three speed circular buffer pad that barely does its job, and it's already falling apart with just one use. Oh and there's no replacement buffer pads, just the one it comes with. And if it falls apart or loses it's buffing power, you now own a thing that rotates and nothing else! The battery life can barely hold up long enough to do its job. As others have mentioned, there were no instructions included in the box, which was frustrating right from the start. We used the product four times. On the fourth use, instead of filing properly, our nails began to feel like they were “heating up” from the friction of the wheel rather than actually filing them down. When I opened the dust collector to inspect it, I discovered the filing wheel was completely smooth — all of the grit had worn off, making it unusable. I expected the filing wheel to last much longer than four uses. Due to the poor durability and overall disappointment, I’ve returned the product to UPS for credit. It's rare that I'm disappointed with an Amazon offering, but this one is just down right awful! To begin in with, it's not a clipper. It's a small disk, smaller than the size of a thumbtack head, of "sandpaper" I say that because it literally shreds the nails, and the friction, within seconds, heats so hot that you have to pull your finger away. It says on the box that it's suitable for adults, seniors and children, but giving it to a child would be cruel. There are no instructions on the box or in it. There is no indication of the country of origin, which I thought was illegal. It came charged but it died quickly, and when I plugged it into a USB cord, it lit up red and remained red for hours. This is an item one might find at a flea market for 25¢to and even at that, it would be a waste of a quarter. I would give it Zero Stars, but Amazon requires a review to have at least one star. I was very disappointed with this thing. When I tried to use it on my fingernails, it didn’t do anything and I know my nail was touching the surface that’s supposed to file your nail. After I thought was my nail being filed down, I lifted the item and nothing had changed. My nail was the same as it was before I used the device. I tried it several more times on different nails, but got the same result. I did notice that someone else who wrote a review had the same problem.
