Greats automatic curler

Yovana CisnerosDecember 22, 2025

I absolutely love this curler so much that I use this very often than my other curlers! Everything about it! The iron quality, the curls, how it works so well, and the heat level! This is definitely worth getting due to the money, unlike the rest that cost way more. And how it’s use is so easy! I would recommend this curler so much! And I love that it already includes a pair or gloves! Read more

Pricey, but works better than others. Comes with heat proof gloves. Watch tutorial video b4 using

At $33, this automatic curler is a little expensive. You can find these for $25 easily. That said, it comes with a rattail comb to help with even parts, and heat proof gloves - an absolute must if you are new to this. I have one from other hot hair tool kits, and use them frequently - not needing to worry about burns really helps in getting my hair done quickly. This does require a bit of a learning curve, so take that into consideration and do a few trial runs before you need to style your hair for an occasion. The product description includes a video tutorial - you MUST watch this if you are a newb. It's not intuitive to figure out at all. That said, the design of this makes it much easier than others to load your hair into the clamps and rotate the barrel without catching your hair and getting it tangled. I have very long, thick hair, and because the prongs are about an inch shorter than the clamps, it wasn't that difficult to get it loaded correctly. Note, you do need to be ambidextrous to use this, as it needs to be positioned upright on both sides of your head - you can't just point it upside down like clampless irons if you are righty to do the left side of your hair. This is a helpful tool to have if you are adept at hair styling and have joint pain or wrist mobility issues. I would not recommend this for short or fine hair, as you'll need to put a lot of hair into the clamp to get it to work correctly. If you have textured hair or any sort of curl, you also need to obviously straighten it before using this - otherwise expect severe tangles. Read more

One hundred percent recommended

The media could not be loaded. You just place a lock and the device rolls it up and forms the curl for you, achieving a uniform and defined finish. It heats up quickly and offers various temperature levels to adapt to different hair types. Its design prevents tangles and reduces the risk of burns, which makes it ideal for daily use. In general, it is an efficient option to get perfect curls effortlessly. Read more

Great once you get the technique down!

Kayla MarieDecember 19, 2025

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been wanting to try an automatic curling iron for a while now, but honestly I was nervous. I kept thinking about those early 2000s and late 90s automatic curlers that did nothing but tangle your hair into a traumatizing knot. But I’m always seeing videos of women getting gorgeous curls with almost no effort, so when I came across this one by Arasyleon, I finally decided to take a chance. I’m really glad I did, because it is so much better than I was expecting. This is a good quality curling iron that feels solidly built. The magnetic cover is such a nice touch. The magnets are strong enough to stay locked in place while using it, but still easy to remove when you want to use the iron on its own, almost like a regular curling wand. It even works as a straightener too, which surprised me. There’s a slit in the center of the barrel with flat plates inside, so you can separate it and run it through your hair to straighten. Because it works as both a self-rotating curler and a straightener, it feels like a true multi-use tool. Using it is pretty simple overall. The buttons are straightforward, one for each function, and it only has three heat settings (160°, 180°, 200°) measured in Celsius. I do wish it was in Fahrenheit, but not a big deal at all. The only little annoyance is that it takes a bit to heat up, around two minutes even on the lowest temperature. Now, I will say this, there is definitely a learning curve. I wish the instructions explained exactly how to place your hair for automatic curling, because the first several tries left me with more tangles than curls. Once I figured it out, though, it worked really well. What ended up working for me was sliding my hair into the slit near the roots, making sure the ends were in just the right spot for the tool to grab them, and then letting it automatically wrap the ends. The issue is that the hair sitting between the plates doesn’t wrap the same as the curl itself, so it can leave a straight or slightly flat spot in the curl. Sometimes even a little crease. This is just how the design works. What helped the most was inserting the curling iron into the middle of the plates from behind the section, holding it straight up and down, and letting it wrap from that angle. Once I used that method, I was finally able to get smooth, shiny, really pretty curls without weird dents. I will mention that the straightener plates do not open super wide so it requires smaller sections of hair. So it does take a little longer to straighten your hair compared to a normal straightener, but not terrible. It’s still a really nice tool that combines two hair tools into one. I really like that because now it will save me having to pack multiple tools when traveling. One feature I really like is the automatic timer beeping system. As soon as you press the spin direction button, it’ll count 10 seconds and beep to let you know your curl is ready. Then it beeps once more after another 10 seconds (I’m guessing in case you want to hold the curl for 20 seconds instead of only 10). It won’t beep again until you wrap your next piece of hair. It’s so convenient not having to count in your head. Once you get the technique down, this curler works really well. My hair came out shiny and smooth, the curls held, and my hair didn’t feel dry or fried afterward. And since it’s dual voltage, you can travel overseas with it without needing an adapter, huge bonus. For the current $32.99 price (as of 12/18/25), this is a great value and honestly right in line with what I’d expect. It’s a quality curling iron with multiple uses. It’s user friendly once you learn the right technique, and it performs far better than I expected. It did not tangle my hair at all once I figured out the right way to use it. If you struggle with curling your hair or want something that does most of the work for you, this is a fantastic option. It’s basically two hair tools in one, gives smooth shiny curls, feels well made, and leaves your hair soft. Overall, it’s a great automatic curling iron and definitely worth trying. Read more

Snags & brakes my hair when releasing the curl... YIKES!

CustomerDecember 3, 2025

I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately, I don't like it at all. I don't know if these other reviewers even tried it!? It is a little tricky to figure out how to use, but I had to end up using a much smaller section of hair than I was trying. Then I was able to get it to twirl without messing up. I've used these curlers before, and I just started out with what I normally do, but that was too much for this one. Once I got it twirling and working, my hair would stick and the device would break it every time I went to release my curl! I know I'm using it correctly because I have another one that I really love & frequently use. Plus just to make sure, I watched a video to ensure I was doing it correctly. I am doing it correctly. When pulling it out, it should not snag your hair....but this one does on me almost every time. Read more
