While the concept is great, our dog wasn’t interested in the ball’s automatic movement. She engaged more when we used it manually on the carpet, which is her preferred play area. The toy is clearly optimized for hard flooring, so it may not perform as well on softer surfaces. I love these, but I think my dog loves them more lol. She is a 6-month puppy so her teeth are still baby teeth, but the ball withstands her bite very well. My dogs are obsessed with these balls. Both have been pretty durable although they had punctures throughout the balls on the first day. Surprisingly, they have held up pretty well.
