These are one of those “are they actually comfortable or is that a lie” situations. Good news: they’re genuinely comfortable. The fabric is smooth, stretchy, and doesn’t do that saggy-knees-by-noon thing. You can sit, stand, walk, live your life, and they still look put together. The waistband deserves credit. It’s high-rise without feeling restrictive, and it doesn’t roll down or dig in. You don’t have to keep tugging at them throughout the day, which already puts them ahead of a lot of so-called work pants. The unfinished hem is a smart move. Being able to trim them to your exact length makes a big difference, especially if you’re not built like the standard clothing model. Once hemmed, they look tailored instead of “close enough.” Style-wise, these lean business casual done right. Clean lines, no loud seams, and the pockets are actually usable without ruining the silhouette. They work with heels, flats, or even sneakers if you’re going for polished-but-not-trying-too-hard. Things to know: They’re not heavy-suited fabric. If you want stiff, traditional office trousers, these aren’t that. These are for comfort-first professionals who still want to look sharp. Final verdict: Comfortable, flattering, and practical without looking cheap or sloppy. Solid choice if you want work pants that don’t feel like a punishment. Read more

First off, can we all agree to stop calling these fitted, synthetic fabric, elastic waist pants “dress pants”? They wear like leggings, feel like leggings, and look like leggings. As long as you know that’s what you’re getting, you will be pleased with this item. I would say this is more athleisure style pants. Yes they have pockets. The pants feature a wide elastic waistband, very soft fabric, and a more relaxed fit through the leg. I found that the waist fit comfortably, but fit more snugly through the thigh and flared out at the bottom. The item claims they can be cut easily to hem, but that wasn’t needed for me. A good value for a high quality pant with a more relaxed fit. Read more

These are comfortable. They’re true to size. They’re stretchy. They provide a small amount of tummy control. My complaint (and the reason I rated these only 3 stars) it’s because they look 100% like yoga pants. The back pocket is the only thing that looks slightly like a dress pant. The rest of them look like complete lounging pants. I’m a teacher and I still could never get away with these looking like work pants. It would look like I was going straight to yoga. I’ve ordered other similar pants that are the same material and feel as yoga pants, but they look so much more like dress pants. These, look nothing like dress pants. So I would recommend these if you’re looking for lounging pants that you could maybe wear to the grocery store. But if you’re looking for a pair of comfy pants to wear to work, these are not it. I am reviewing the Avamo dress pants. They are a stretch knit. I got black. These are the perfect length for me. It says something in the information in the listing about them being unhemmed. These are hemmed. These pants are COMFORTABLE. They slip on easily and go up to the waist. This works well with lots of jackets and tops that are cut shorter. The pants have pockets. They are well constructed and look expensive. I ordered medium, and I am normally a size 10 -12. They were not tight on me and almost loose. I could have ordered a small. Because these are loose, they are not compressing my tummy. The cut is such that my tummy is not emphasized either. I wore these around for a few hours. The waistband stayed up, and the pants stayed in place. Read more

These got 2 stars because the sizing is way off. I'm usually a medium in this brand, but the medium I received fit so loose from the thigh up that I could have gone down two sizes to an XS. Disappointing. The fabric has light stretch. The medium fit me without stretch and was still too big. I'm usually a size 6 or maybe small 8 in Kohls/Amanda jeans. With stretch this could easily accommodate a size 10 and 12. Fabric is soft and stretchy. It's more of a yoga pant fabric. I would not be comfortable wearing these for work, especially if you work in a conservative environment. They are not work pants in my opinion, but are very comfortable workout or casual errands pants. Read more

I absolutely love these pants! They are made of a material that is so soft and stretchy. Very comfortable, yet still looks dressy and professional. They are also a true to size, and come up nicely over the stomach. I would very much recommend these. Read more

Unfortunately, these high-waisted dress pants were a big disappointment. They’re advertised as having stretch and tummy control, but neither of those features really feels present. The waistband doesn’t offer any noticeable support or smoothing, and the fabric itself doesn’t feel particularly stretchy, which makes them uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. The color was also not what I expected. Instead of a true black, they’re more of an off-black or faded black, which makes them look less polished and not ideal for professional or dressy settings. Overall, the fit is awkward, the material feels restrictive rather than supportive, and they’re simply not comfortable. I was hoping for flattering, easy-to-wear dress pants, but these missed the mark in several important ways. Read more

The material is really nice and they are well made. I got a Medium and my waist is 29" and my hips are 42" and these felt a little loose. They're also pretty short on me (I am 5'9) and they go up to my ankles; they don't look great on me. They're nice pants but I think they may just not work for my body. I think they'd look great on someone a few inches shorter than me. Read more
