I am usually size 10/12, but looking at the size chart I thought I may need an XL for the waist. I’m glad I sized up because these pants seem to be on the tighter side. The waistband is comfortable, but not flattering on me. I usually have my waist covered with a longer top or sweater so that is fine. If you have an hourglass shape it will probably be flattering. The fabric is really soft and stretchy, but they are a little thin. You can see the outline of the pockets when looking straight on.
