Comfortable, but thin fabric
I love fashion and getting dressed, and I am very careful about what I wear and how I present myself, especially for work. I am a business owner with a casual / business casual office & I have lots of meetings and events outside of the office so I prefer clothing that looks well put together and sophisticated while still being very comfortable. I was hopeful these pants would work well for my lifestyle, but I was a little disappointed. The good news is, these pants are very comfortable. The elastic waist fits true to size, stays in place well and has belt loops so that you can cover the elastic. However, while the waist, hips and thighs fit true to size, the pants are very long. I am 5'3" and they were roughy 3 inches too long, even when wearing heels I would need to have these hemmed, but at the price point and level of quality, I don't want to go to the expense. They would be much better suited for someone tall. The quality of the fabric was the downfall of these pants for me. The fabric is very textured and thin, which makes it look droopy and drape in unflattering ways. To me, the fabric just does not have the sophisticated and elegant look I want in dress pants. While the price point isn't especially high, I have many other pants at the same price point that look much more polished. For me, the value for money isn't there for level of quality. Read more
