Bought it as a gift for my son and to free up storage on his XBox One. Very easy to set up and transfer games that were not being played a lot. We have had no issues with it. Before we had to delete games off to install new ones. This was frustrating when the grandkids came and wanted to play games that were appropriate for them. Need to manually turn off and on!!!!

I would think this harddrive would "sleep" and "wake." However, it simply shuts down with the xbox shuts down and refuses to wake up when the xbox turns on. I did all the troubleshooting and I'm done. Spent so much time downloading all my games, reformatted it to get it to work, redownload and same stuff happening. Either there is something I don't know, or my is defective or you really need to manually power cycle. Read more
