This device has a ton of computer storage space for photos, music, videos, etc. I bought it because I have another, smaller, drive that is at the end of its life. This drive is plug and play, out of the box plug into my computer, start using. That simple. A bright light tells you that it is on and working. Worked ONCE

I ordered this drive less that two weeks ago. I used it once to backup another drive that was beginning to fill up. Once the backup was complete I thought about wiping the old drive and making new use for it. I thought better of it and decided to wait till I truly needed the space. I am glad that I did because today I went to add more data to the Avolusion and it was dead. No lights, no system recognition. The spindle seemed to wind up - when powered on, but that was it. Returning this for refund and purchasing a more trusted name brand. Buyer beware. Read more
