Product does exactly what it says it will do - stores PS4 games and allows you to copy PS5 games to it. You cannot play PS5 games off of it. You have to copy PS5 games back to the PS5 to play them (product description and general research makes this clear). Playing PS4 games off of it works perfect. It is quiet and the color matches the PS5 nicely. At this price, this is a a great product. Highly recommended. Read more

It works great so far. Decent speed and no noticeable lag when playing ps4 games from usb drive. However, the light is soooo bright and somewhat constantly flashing at a rapid pace. I enjoy playing my video games with little to no light in the background and this device makes that difficult to do. I put a small piece of electrical tape over top to dim it but if I knew it had this obnoxiously fast, constant, bright flashing light I may not have purchased. I’m sensitive to light so I’m probably a little pickier than most but even the people I’m living with commented on how annoying it was. Read more
For a PS5, the drive is already formatted, ready for use. I moved my PS4 games over to the extended drive and yes, they played just fine. I have more room available on my console SSD for PS5 Games. Great! Read more
From the picture you can see it says cannot store ps5 games. It allows me to store ps4 games... I've Re formatted it both ways and nothing is allowing me to use it with my ps5 Read more
