Absolute piece of trash Bought for a PS5 so I could share a console with my roommate and have had nothing but trouble. Did everything it said plugged it into the back and nothing worked. Couldn’t find anything online about how to format it as it appears to only work with PS4 from everything I’ve seen. I looked at the link with the tutorial video and magically, the video doesn’t exist. ITS A FAKE URL! I’m going to try for 3-4 more minutes before returning it and just going to the store. The drive is okay-ish. Playing ps4 games straight from the drive looks like garbage and textures are slow to load in-game. Also do not use power switch on back of drive, you need to use the "Safely Remove From PS5" option under Settings-Storage-USB Storage, the drive will have to repair itself if you flip power switch before safely removing. Drive storage works as intended, so if your just using it as an affordable storage tool then this is right for you. In my opinion this drive is low tier compared to others, but the price you pay for its large storage capacity is excellent and the design matches the PS5 perfectly making it a perfect addition to any household setup or man-cave.
