Bought this to use on my PS4. Since alot of games use the internal hard drive to save your progress in game, I figure I needed to look into getting something I could upload games to as well as save data. This hard drive came up and at the time it was at a price I couldnt pass up. Great thing about it is, If I end up getting a PS5 I can use it with that system as well. Performance has actually increased the speed at which some of my games load up. Dont know if thats because of the Hard Drive itself or the fact that my internal hard drive doesnt have all of these saved games on there anymore. Read more

They list this as being compatible for PS5, but it is not compatible with the PS5.. waste of time and money. I don't understand why Amazon let's then list this as being PS5 compatible. Edit: I came back to edit it because I'm so irritated about this. This morning before work I transferred a good portion of my games to this storage. I got off work and literally can't play any of my games without transferring them back. Literally the BIGGEST waste of time, thanks. Also just burnt a good 200-300gb of data downloading games from my library that I now have to delete to be able to play other games. Just don't buy this in general. Read more

Bought this a couple months ago... didn't need it right away since the ps5 was new and didn't have any games on it... now I plug it in and it's not even compatible with the ps5 and I'm past the return date... now looking at reviews I see other people have had this problem. Don't buy this product (unless you wanna buy it from me😂) Edit: i found a way to use the hard-drive with my ps5 games. I changed my rating from a 1 to 3 only because I just so happened to have stumbled upon the answer when I was about to cave and delete a game completely. Also you still have to copy it back to the Playstation in order to play it. But I got what I needed done! Read more
