I bought one of these clocks in dark blue to use in my home exercise room. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one in light green for our master bathroom. This clock is stylish, sturdy and keeps time well. The large face and numerals make it easily readable even when I'm not wearing my glasses. The alarm is loud enough for it to be used as a bedside clock. Being able to tilt the face for easy viewing is a nice feature also. I got the one in orange, it's cute, not too bright, nice warm color. However, to all those reviewers who said that it's silent, it's NOT. It's about 10 feet from my head and I can hear the mechanism that moves the seconds arm on the clock. It sounds like water dripping rhythmically. It's not loud at all, but not silent either. Time keeping so far on point. I use it near my work area (non-computer part of it) so that I don't have to look at my phone, but if you are sound-sensitive, I wouldn't use it in a bedroom. This small attractive clock is a perfect time piece for my crowded desk. It is elegant looking, quiet, and always there when I glance up to check the time.
