This is a great purifier. I bought it to clean the air on a rental and didn’t really think I’d have much of a use for it after that but with the wild fires happening I’ve been running this in my home and it moves a surprising amount of air. Definitely smells a lot cleaner in my house and I have less of a sore throat to show for it. Some notes tho, it’s an industrial air purifier so it’s not whisper quiet, but if you like white noise then it gives you that. And yes, what another reviewer said is true, there is a light, sweet, plastic smell when running it for the first couple days. I found that the smell mostly went away when I changed the (non-hepa) filter it came with. Nowhere in this listing does it state the carbon filter is not included. While is does state that it the carbon filter is optional to use the unit, to me, that doesn't imply that it's not included. I reached out to support and they refused to admit any false advertising in this listing. I had to buy the carbon filters for an additional $70. Read more

Works great for the interior projects. Was very impressed with the difference it made. I definitely will not buy the specific filters that sell at $170 for 12 though. I buy 16x20s for $2 at any store and cut them down. You will use atleast 1 per day on interior projects that are very dirty. But atleast it shows how much it's helping. Read more

First time buying an air scrubber and I'm returning it! First time I tried it I left it running for 8 hours in a small bedroom. The machine leave a disgusting rubbery smell. I thought maybe because it's new and need more running time. I then put it in my basement for 24 hours. The same chemical smell.. not sure if this piece is broken or something.. but it's not helpful at all. I also bought the HEPA filters to help with the filtration. Useless! Read more

I had a leak in the basement that caused mold. I decided to tackle it myself and used this air scrubber to keep from spreading the spores. The basement has been mold free since I treated it and used this scrubber. It was a great buy! Read more

I used this scrubber to mitigate airborne mold and dust as I remediated a major mold problem in my basement. I attached the exhaust to a flexible duct and created a negative pressure (vacuum) in my basement. It was highly effective. The only improvement would be to change the exhaust shape to circular. The rectangular shape made it slightly more difficult to attach the flex duct. For the price though... I don't mind at all! I definitely would recommend this product. Its great! Read more
