Best travel sound machine ever! It is small, but mighty and easily lasts 24 hours or 2.5 nights per charge! There is no looping sound either! I use the Yogasleep Dohm Classic sound machine at home and it is the old school kind that generates its sound with fans because the looping sounds of other digital sound machines drive me crazy all night long. This little thing is perfect for traveling and it charges in a few hours. Read more
Bought this for a recent trip, and it worked surprisingly well! We use white noise at home to sleep (air filter for adults, white noise machine for kiddos). When we travel, we usually use our phone app to create white noise. We wanted a separate machine, though, so someone could continue using their phone while another person was napping, sleeping in, etc. I bought this model and a different model that was slightly bigger. This one really helped to create a soothing environment in a hotel room and cover up random noises from the room air conditioner, hallway, etc. Everyone slept well! It is tiny, but the sound traveled well when put between two beds. It would probably be even better if you could place it on a shelf or something raised near the beds. Several noise options to choose from which all sounded clear, but we chose the heavy rain option. Very happy with this purchase! Read more
Great sound, was really surprised by the volume and the options. The instructions for the duration you can keep it on is kinda of frustrating, so I wound up not being able to change from 30min, 60min, or continuous and manually turned it off. But other than that its small and compact, with great sound quality and I use it for relaxation and sleep. Read more
Small sound machine that packs a big punch. Helps with sleeping in new places with strange sounds. Love the portability, volume, lightweight, and a variety of sounds. I get about 2 full nights out of it before it needs charged. Read more
Love this version of the Babelio sound machine, it remembers the last volume and sound setting you had it on. Small compact, and the original was great to use for travel. I did buy the additional case for it. There is a night light built in that you can choose to use or not. It is continuous noise and you can't hear any breaks. The one I had made a boo-doo-doop noise when I powered on and made noises when the battery was low. I keep this one plugged in all the time so not sure what happens when the battery gets low. It comes with a charging cord with a USB and USB-C ends. It also comes with a wrist strap you can attach to the machine. Read more
My family and I were long time users of Dohm and Marpac sound machine products (the traditional, mechanical whirring devices that provide white noise for privacy or sleeping). Several years ago we switched to electronic devices (e.g. LectroFan) which were lighter and offered more sound options, but had hardware (like AC adapters) that would break easily or snap off. Finally, because of a relative’s recommendation, we switched to this handheld device by Babelio — it’s a game-changer! It’s comical how large our previous sound machines are in comparison to this tiny device. It provides great adjustable volume settings (it can get quite loud, and also can be set low to almost a whisper) with lots of variety of generic white noises and nature sounds. The packaging is premium and it comes with a USB-A to USB-C cord for power, although this device can hold a charge and work wirelessly for several nights (we’ve never tested the limit, but it seems like it might last most of a week). It also comes with a hand strap that could be used to dangle the device from a stroller or just to secure it better. The cord was satisfying to attach. Very well built product that works as advertised at an affordable price point. Ended up buying a second one because our other kid found the sounds soothing to sleep to. I wish it came with an AC adapter so in older hotels without USB-A ports we wouldn’t have to substitute with a phone charging adapter. Read more
