My baby is 6 months old and we’ve noticed he sleeps really well on softer surfaces, but could NOT get him to sleep on his crib. He’s sleeping so much better with this mattress topper!! Have been using for a year and it has been wonderful for my son. Not to hot not too cold not to firm not to soft. The dual sides have allowed us to transition as he has gotten older. I wanted my daughter's bed to be a little softer. She is over 2, still in crib with firm crib mattress. I was very cautious with allowing anything else in her bed. I bought this mattress topper since it is only 1 inch thick, it added just enough softness without being too squishy that her face could get surrounded. I even tested it out smashing my face into the topper on her firm crib mattress. So far she loves it and is sleeping like normal. Only reason I give it 4 stars is I washed it before using, since you cant put it in the dryer I was never sure when it was completely dry from just letting it air dry. We let it out for 36 hours and it still felt questionable. Another thing was getting the foam topper back in to the case, took longer than I wanted it to as I fought with it. So now I will have to allot for that extra drying time when I wash the topper again. Read more
