My cat drives me insane! He wants to play all the time! Constantly! If I am home he is dragging one of his many toys to me to play with him. So, I bought one of these little guys and HE LOVES IT. It took us a bit to realize that it has different settings. One setting would just play for 5 minutes and shut off. The other is more adaptable and it lasts a lot longer. Just make sure you pay attention to the settings. It does get caught and hung up in places because the ball is little bigger than a golf ball. My cat doesn’t mind because he will just pull it out and keep playing but if it was a wee bit bigger like a tennis ball it would get stuck in less places. If I was going to buy again I would have bought the 2 pack, for the discount and that way I can charge one while the other is in use. I am including a picture of my cat waiting for it to charge. My male cat gets bored and anxious. This toy is GREAT and keeps him occupied and engaged. It's easy to charge, the power button is on the side, just hold down for a few seconds until you feel it vibrate then release. I wish it stayed on longer than 5 minutes though, because after 5 minutes it shuts off. 10-15 minutes would be ideal for my cat. The only other thing is its kinda loud, the little motor and it rolling around knocking into things and slamming into the walls before it turns around and heads back the other direction. Also it rolls under the furniture and gets stuck, you can hear the motor trying to move. So we have to grab it and throw it back out into the open again. Read more
Overall this is a toy on steroids when fully charged. Charging process is easy, just plug it into charger and that's it. The order includes a variety of tails to attach, but they don't always stay on which is a drawback. My rowdy kitten loves it nevertheless, my less rowdy kitten is scared of it. Its light weight, changes direction quickly and is pretty fast which makes for great play time. However, it really only works in large open spaces with no carpet or other barriers in the way because it constantly gets stuck in corners or behind items with the little engine roaring. That's a bit annoying because the whole idea is to entertain the cat without human interference. Instead one has to constantly "unstuck" the toy taking away all the fun. That's why I gave three stars instead of five. The ball is not cheap compared to other toys but overall it's a good toy under the right circumstances. Read more
Rechargeable. My cats love this product. If it runs into something it changes direction. The only thing negative is the tint little clips that come with it are fragile and break eadily. Read more
Our 3 cats love this toy and I'm impressed too! I use it to distract them from whining for food and our one cat being a bully to the other two. Love how we can recharge it using the USB cord. Works great on our carpet. Bounces off walls and other items that may be in the way without damage. I will be buying another! Read more
I bought this for my cat Dale Earnhardt as a Christmas present. He absolutely LOVES it. It is an easy way to keep a cat occupied while remaining hands-free. This thing has impressive power behind it, especially on high-speed mode. It literally moved our Christmas tree when we weren't looking. It almost always works itself out of any corners or spaces in which it may get stuck. But above all, I accidentally launched it into the toilet my husband was actively peeing into. Great cat toy but its smaller than I thought it would be...about the size of a golf ball. It definitely keeps my cat entertained but even on a full charge it only lasts about 20 minutes on the fast mode. Its great for not having to pay attention to throwing a ball or flicking a ribbon constantly. Overall I recommend...just keep the charger on hand! Read more
