In a first time mom and had been trying to use nail clippers to cut my almost 4 month old’s nails. Well after getting him twice by accident I finally caved and bought this because Amazon had it as the overall pick. I just used it for the first time and omg was it worth it. I used the pink disc (for 0-3 months) and tested it on my skin before even touching my boy. It doesn’t irritate skin at all and stops with too much pressure so as to protect the skin. It was super easy to use and take 2 AA batteries. It has a nice little case and the lowest setting wasn’t too much to use on baby nails. It gets the job done, however it is annoying that with barely any pressure it's safety feature kicks in and it stops. Which is good because I don't want to rub his little finger raw, but also it takes a bit longer to get nails trimmed and doesnt seem to work too good on his toe nails. We use it every day just about and it still works. Just wish it did a little better at filing. Love how it comes with different attachments. Will continue to use it anyways as it still files them somewhat. Read more

Fits well in diaper bag. --Pretty quiet, I use on sleeping baby all the time! CONS: Only improvement would be a place to store the charging cord in the case, that wasn't in the way of the tools. This electric filing set has saved me an UNBELIEVABLE amount of time trimming my little one’s nails! He constantly loves grabbing his face and with fast growing claws might I add. It’s nearly impossible to find him daily without a little scratch. Thankfully, this device allows me to get a VERY close trim right down to the nub (which is basically necessary for us) with little to no discomfort. However, I do recommend using during nap time, just to make your life easier if you have a squirmy wormy like mine. I almost believe when he is calm enough for me to work on them awake, it actually relaxes him. Maybe it’s the light buzzing or the subtle vibrations? Some tv and a pacifier is “chefs kiss” distracting him long enough to get the job done. When that doesn’t work, my husband shakes a rattle and this works just as well (helpful hack). It’s also great at buffing the little skin peels on his fingers. That’s how gentle it is!! Though gentle, it still manages to QUICKLY and EFFORTLESSLY grind down the nail nearly perfect every time. I love that it can be used on adults as well thanks to variety of head options. It’s definitely a two for one deal which includes other essentials necessary for a great manicure. It’s SO satisfying, relaxing and easy to use, even I feel like a licensed nail tech by the end. I highly recommend to ALL Mamas or Mamas-to-be!
