I'm impressed by the quality and heavy-duty thread and needles provided with this sewing kit. There is a good variety of needle sizes and thread colors. I like that most of the colors are dark as that will work great with most of the upholstery repairs I'm planning on making. The case is small, but well organized, making it easy to find and replace the tool or item you want to use. This is a nice sewing kit, and it works great for small repairs. It comes with a good variety of needles, strong upholstery thread, seam rippers, and awls, so you have what you need for fixing things like backpacks, shoes, seats, and other heavier material. This used to be cheaper but even the price now I think it’s still very worth is, it’s got a good travel size for when you need it, it’s very organized, quiet a bit of color variety considering the price, and the functionality is very good. The needles seem very durable and strong, I heavily doubt they would break, the little scissor thing tho it works but it’s kinda bad because it’s like it’s dull already, but besides that everything is perfect really. Used to bind handmade books. Awl handle came out on third booklet. Everything else was perfect. Was able to continue to use the awl with some extra care and strength, but will need a replacement awl before undertaking another project. I waxed the thread and it worked great, good quality. I was hesitant to purchase this kit as I thought the items included would be of low quality. Oh boy was I wrong! I’m very pleased that I purchased it. It has everything you would need to repair upholstery, stuffed animals, items made of heavy canvas, and even leather clothing, bags, and haberdashery. Almost every size of curved needles and every type of straight needles are included. The thread in the kit is sturdy, thin enough to repair plush toys, and thick enough to sew leather and canvas. It’s definitely all purpose. Everything you’d need repairing items mentioned above is included and I thought the measuring tape in the kit was a nice touch. The zippered box is made of good quality materials and it seems as it will last. Read more
