Just received but appears to be good quality. I like the case. It looks like a case for a hard drive and I like that everything contained is in this durable case. Read more

Seriously, this little kit is like a first aid kit, a necessity! I had no idea how much easier mending jeans or fixing nylon straps could be! Using the right tools makes all the difference. I think this will become a default housewarming gift. I think everyone needs one! Definitely would recommend. All the tools I’ve used seem to be good quality, thread is thick, and the snippers work really well. I’d only ask for a dark blue and light blue thread options for hemming jeans. Read more

Great kit and the thread matched perfect to my couch. Looks great now. It’s strong enough that my cat isn’t scratching it up as of yet. Read more

Exactly what you'll need is in here. I purchased this to repair our leather chair that my sister gifted me 4 years ago. She paid $1,500.00 for it several years before, and it was her husband's favorite chair, but she said it was time for new things and so it came to us. It has stood the test of time and is made from a beautiful leather. Sadly,my dog decided she was going to find her treat that fell in the chair one day. While I was outside she removed the thread holding the upper back cushion..and she did exactly that. It would be a 200 dollar repair and a month+ wait. I decided to order this as the thread colors I needed and other items were there for a great price. I really wanted one of the curved needles, but the heavy straight one did the job, and after an hour of lining up thread and the original punched holes in the leather, I managed to.do a darn good job putting it back together. Other than a slight variation in thread color you can't even tell the difference. The thread is strong and I have no doubt I will keep this chair for seversl.more years. Update: Same dog,new furniture. So,this weekend I bought a new sectional sofa.We are moving.and would need a new sofa and it just so happened tbat one of those rental places was having a closing sale. I got an Ashley sectional for $160+ tax!We had to move it ourselves and did just that. However, when returning the truck I borrowed to move it my dog was left alone with the sofa and unlike leather this sofa is a soft faux suede(?) , and her and her nails sunk into it fairly easily. It was not intentional, she was trying to nestle up in it,not destroy it. After scolding her, I got my new kit here and went to work. The dark brown thread matched PERFECTLY, and you cannot even tell what happened. Not even up close. So, I'm REALLY glad I has this,as I was pretty upset at hyst having bought this. But as I said, you can't even tell,so no harm, no foul. I'll post photos. Read more

A Handy All-in-One Kit for Leather and Upholstery Repairs This BAGERLA upholstery repair sewing kit turned out to be more versatile than I expected. It comes with a wide assortment of needles (curved, straight, and heavy-duty), thick upholstery threads in multiple colors, an awl, seam ripper, thimbles, and even a measuring tape. Basically, everything you need for small- to medium-sized repair projects is neatly packed into one case. I’ve used it so far on a torn leather strap, a loose seam on a fabric sofa cushion, and even to re-stitch part of a canvas tote. The awl and heavy-duty needles make it possible to punch through thick leather or layered fabric without too much struggle. The included threads are strong, though not quite as smooth as higher-end upholstery thread you might buy separately. For household fixes, though, they do the job. The kit really shines in its completeness—you don’t need to hunt down separate tools, which is especially convenient if you don’t already have an upholstery setup. The case keeps everything organized, and the variety of needle shapes means you’re covered whether you’re working on shoes, belts, car seats, or furniture. A couple of things to keep in mind: the awl is sharp (as it should be), so handle with care, and the included scissors are more like thread snips than fabric shears—fine for cutting thread but not for cutting leather or heavy fabric. Bottom line: A solid, affordable starter kit for upholstery and leather repairs. It’s not pro-level gear, but for most DIY fixes around the house, this set makes the job easier and saves a trip to the repair shop. Read more
