Very soft bed. We have several cat beds throughout the house and this bed is part of their rotation. My two cats take turns making biscuits inside the bed and taking naps. The bed can accommodate 2 chonky cats but my kitties prefer to sleep solo. If my 16 pound dog could get to this bed he would most definitely claim it as his. Great bed for cats and dogs. Came in a small package and compressed, but it came to life in no time with no issues at all. The fabric is very soft and firm. It seems like it's good quality. The edges/rims are very firm and thick. The inside is removable and reversable. Both sides are soft! I live the design. I have two cats, so I bought two sizes -- a small and medium, but medium is slightly larger, but both can fit on my bed just fine. It gives them the option to sleep alone or together. I spilled something on it and it was easy to wipe off and clean. Great value for the money. Read more

My cat is over the moon happy with her new cat bed. It’s made by Balance, a name that’s quality & luxury. The bed is made extremely well & the fabric is velvety soft. There’s a separate velvet pillow that is on the bottom of the bed making it even more soft & luxurious. It’s all machine washable which is an added bonus. My chihuahua/terrier mix is about 16 lbs, and has a "long" body. Bitsy absolutely loves this bed. Since he is often cold at night, the fact that he can curl up against the sides allows his body heat to keep him warm! I was worried that the sides would be too tall for Bitsy (that he would not want to "climb in," he is a fussy boy)! He took to this bed immediately. I let it decompress for 24 hours. The material is incredibly soft and fur-like. There is enough padding on the bottom to give him a comfortable sleep (he's going on 14 years old). I have expensive orthopedic beds for Bitsy all over the house, but this is the bed he always gravitates to! I bought a second one (of course), so Bitsy can lounge in the living room during the day...the second bed is in the bedroom. The price of this bed is incredible for the quality.
