awesome bit driver

this works great for machined screws and other things requiring limited power, doesnt have an infinite amount of torque but enough to catch you off guard and flip out of your hands if you arent holding it firmly. IS an ergonomic driver, ball grip feels good but be careful when using to tighten the casing will separate and break along where the diffuser is set in for the charging LED. best thing if you cannot get another screwdriver for final torquing is to hold it closer up the tool in the middle towards the collet so you dont apply too much leverage from the ball on the middle of the casing because it will flex enough to break. i think if they were willing to design a larger tool handle, as big as some of the klein multi tools they could make something with twice as much driving and torquing power Read more

Just good quality products

I cannot say enough good things about Vessel screwdrivers. I own two of them...plus the extra bits for various jobs. Both electric. One fast speed and one slow speed. I stick with what works and performs, and vessel products do. Read more

Very fast, but not optimized for any task

The speed is the fastest out of all the electric screwdrivers, but maybe sometimes a bit too fast. It's is sometimes hard to control at that speed, especially with flat head screws. Torque is moderate, and for some tasks around the house, you will have to hand tighten or loosen before using the motor. It usually will not drive screws into wood well, even if the hole is pre-drilled. On small screws in electronics, the motor tightens screws slightly tighter than it should, and the fast speed makes it hard to time releasing the trigger before it bottoms out. This is a bit frustrating, because if the motor torque was slightly weaker, it would be great for electronics, and if it was stronger, it would be great for general usage. But it sits in a weird spot where it's not optimized for either use case. The chuck is a quick change mechanism and does not hold in the bits magnetically, the bit itself is magnetic. There is a bit of slack in the bit holder, the bit comes in and out slightly, but I have not found that to be a problem in practice. The bit can wobble a bit, due to the long shank. Read more

Best tool investment in a while

Used daily as a commercial electrician. Not the most torque but relatively quick if your threads are good and clean. Usually a quick 1/2 turn by hand clears out the drywall mud enough for the motor to take over. Used mainly for installing receptacles, metal covers, etc. in metal boxes. Definitely a time saver and much preferred to carrying a drill around. It just took me showing it off for the whole crew to buy their own. Read more

Not as quality as I have been told, fitment not great and feels cheap.

After seeing so many people rave about this brand I am very surprised after receiving one to feel that the edges were very crooked and didn't fit together extremely well, the button seems cheap that turns it on and off and is rather hard to get your finger to and the edges of moldings are very crude and can scratch you deeply or maybe even cut you. I don't think this is worth the value that they put on it if the manufacturing is this cheap. Read more

Almost too much slop to be usable

The media could not be loaded. I like the idea of it but has a huge amount of slop with the bit it came with and all the magnetic bit holders i have(bosch, makita,Milwaukee, dewalt) I got the high speed version but it turns too fast with all the slop. Debating returning for a different brand japan usually makes high quality everything idk why this is so sloppy, its about 1/4” of play. I have not put it to use to know battery life but the 3.5 ft lb is plenty strong for all your normal machine screws. Read more

Great little electric screwdriver

Read the reviews and you will see a lot of people whining that this 6oz electric screwdriver has less torque that a 3 pound impact gun, if you are trying to build a deck get an impact gun. I nave been doing industrial electrical work since the 80s, have a van full of cordless tools and this is my current favorite! I carry it in my pocket and I just give the screw a half a turn to loosen it and power it out the rest of the way. Putting screws in I power them in, then give it 1/2 to 3/4 turn to tighten the screw. Read more
