Best Laptop and Desktop repair screwdriver hands-down

This is the best screwdriver for computer repair, both laptop and desktop. This is my main electric screwdriver for repairing Chromebooks, and the adjustable speed and ability to use different tips really comes in handy when quickly repairing devices. The battery lasts a really long time and the USB-C connection is a great touch, since that means one less proprietary wire that I need to remember to keep. Very torquey and overall an amazing product. Cannot recommend enough. Read more

Best Precision Screwdriver – A Game Changer!

The Vessel Electric Ball Grip Screwdriver is hands down one of the best tools I’ve ever added to my kit. The ergonomic design makes it incredibly comfortable to hold, and the electric assist takes the strain out of repetitive tasks while still allowing for manual precision when needed. The build quality is solid, and the torque control is perfect for delicate electronics, ensuring you don’t over-tighten screws. The battery life is impressive, lasting through multiple projects without needing a recharge. This screwdriver has completely changed the way I work on small electronics and household repairs. If you're looking for a high-quality, reliable, and efficient electric screwdriver, this is the one. Highly recommend! Read more

Well built small controls

I bought this 3 speed electric screwdriver to replace my Rolgear ratchet screwdriver that i like but long threads and jobs with many fasteners would have me trying to use my m12 impact in places it doesn't really fit PROS: you can tell it's quality, nice solid plastic and rubber like you would get from a larger power tool. i like that the light stays on for a few seconds after you actuate it and the USB-c charging ports has a nice thick cover. It has enough power to work on clean hand tool sized fasteners but if its stuck you have a comfortable grip to manually loosen then run the threads out kind of like an electric ratchet, the tool is built to be used that way. The tool is very compact not really any bigger than a normal screw driver. I was worried it might be prone to rolling but the controls stick out enough to catch even with the 3 inch bit installed CONS: The slide controls are a little small and too far from the front in my opinion, I find it a bit awkward to actuate in both a standard and palm grip with my fingers naturally resting much further towards the front. I wear L gloves if you wear XL gloves or bigger you might want to avoid this tool. I have a much larger 3.6 volt hitachi screwdriver DB3DL2 i love for disassembly that has a rocker style switch i much prefer. The triple mode sellection is a nice option to have but the power difference between the lowest and highest is so close that the middle options is just in the way. This tool has real power limitations a small pre drilled furniture screw is about the limit. also for the price ($50 shipped) i would really like to have an assortment of bits like what comes with the more basic models. OTHER THOUGHTS: Overall I like the tool as a compact upgrade to a ratcheting screwdriver don't expect it to do much more than that. No strong opinions on the ball grip it might facilitate a bit more torque than if it was slim all the way down. bits do slop forward and back quite a bit but it doesn't impact the usability for me. i would rate it 5 stars but it is quite pricey for a little single cell tool and there are much more affordable options with more power albeit bulkier. Great tool

This is a great electric screwdriver. I like the form and function better than my Demel/Bosch dielectric driver. The Dremel does have more torque though. The Vessel tops out at about 7 in/lbs and the Dremel does about 15 in/lbs. It’s best for screwing bolts into threaded parts, not for screws into wood. One thing to note is that it is made to use 1/4” Japanese style bits. The locking collar will accept normal bits, but there will be approx. 5-6mm of back and forth play. The Japanese bits have about 13mm of locking section on the back of the bits while the regular bits only have 6mm. My solution to this was to this was to cut a 6mm section from 7/32” steel rod. The 6mm plug drops into the bit collar and any regular style bit sits on top of it. This eliminates the slop. I also use a WERA RAPIDAPTOR bit holder with my 6mm plug with the tool. The Rapidaptor allows me to use any of my short bits in hex, torx, etc with the tool. Surprisingly, the Rapidaptor hold regular ANDJapanese bits securely with no slop! ***UPDATE*** I’ve had this driver since 2/24 and still like it for light duty driving. I as switching out a bit today and the new bit wouldn’t stay locked in place?!?! After my initial panic, I realized that the red plastic ring below the bit locking collar had moved up about 1/8” and was keeping the locking collar from fully seating. I pushed it back in place and all was well! Read more
