this is a great SPF spray because it is not aerosol. I have yet to change to the refill however I did undo the tops of the spray bottle and the refill bottle and appears to be easy threaded screw on top. I love that it doesn't have that chemically benzene or whatever they use make the spray aerosolize so I can use it in the shower and rinse down the shower otherwise other spray SPF tends to melt things and you have to go outside away from structure to anything that is not the case with this is good.
