I love this product for taking on the go! My daughter hates using the rub in lotion and I don't really care for the spray sunscreen as its so unhealthy to breathe in. Found this for the face and it has great coverage and stays on. The only thing I would recommend is making sure to rub the sunscreen lotion in on your nose area as rolling a bottle on your nose area is likely to burn if you only do so by using the bottle. It makes for better coverage when rubbed in. The bottle was easy to use, didn't have leakage and was convenient. Read more

Works great for my six and three-year-old. Very easy to use. However, you do need to keep the bottle straight up in the air. I found that if you angle it at all the sunscreen doesn’t come out as well. My three-year-old even loves to Put it on herself. You can also really tell where the sunscreen goes even though it is pretty clear. Read more

My teenage daughter has very fair skin and is in the sun quite a bit for softball all Spring & Summer. This is perfect to roll on her skin and she doesn’t have to get it on her hands and make them slippery like lotions. Does a good job keeping her from burning. Read more

My kid LOVES this stuff and it has in the past been really easy for them to use - a container of it stays in their backpack all summer and they reapply throughout the day at camp. For some reason, the most recent order we got was different - the rollerball sticks and doesn't want to work, and what product does come out is thicker and harder to distribute. We will chalk it up to a bad batch and buy another - hopefully our next container is as easy to use as it has been in the past! Read more

This Banana Boat Sport Kids Roll-On Sunscreen has become a go to in our summer bag. The roll-on format is a game changer, especially when you’re trying to keep up with active kids who don’t want to sit still. It goes on quickly and evenly without the mess of sprays or squeezing lotion into your hands. The 2.5oz size is perfect for tossing into a backpack, beach bag, or glove compartment without taking up much space. What really stands out is how well it holds up during play. My kids are constantly in and out of the water or running around in the sun, and this sunscreen keeps up with them. It’s labeled SPF 60 and water-resistant, and I’ve noticed it actually lasts but we do reapply as directed. I’ve never seen signs of sunburn or irritation after hours outside. The formula doesn’t feel greasy and doesn’t have a strong scent, which I appreciate. It also hasn’t caused any breakouts or skin issues, even on my younger child who has fairly sensitive skin. Overall, this is a smart product for parents. It’s effective, easy to use, and made with the kind of practicality you really appreciate when you’re chasing kids around in the sun. I’ve already bought a few more to stash in different bags and cars. Highly recommend. Read more

Sadly, I had high hopes for this, looking forward to applying bitter sunscreen without having to have it all over my hands, or having to accidentally inhaling a spray. I tried over and over to roll it on - but nothing came out. It was very hard to roll. Perhaps something was stuck. I hope others had more luck. Read more

We found this to be okay. My kids definitely prefer the stick one from this brand more. When I would pull this one out they would say “where’s the other one”. I found it hard to tell if the sunblock was actually coming out and hard to tell if it was providing enough coverage when applying on my kids. The ball felt dry sometimes and wouldn’t continuously roll when applying. I did like using it on my face as I could feel it coming out and it is easy to apply when it is working. Read more

I bought these for my kids summer program. They needed to be able to put sunscreen on by themselves and this was the best option for them. Ages 6 and 7 they were able to roll it on and rub it in independently Read more
