The media could not be loaded. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I waited to review until I had really Road Tested this piece. 3 years later and a lot of use/abuse... I'm a little embarrassed at how rough I've been with this bag for what I paid. Great craftsmanship, it's a beautiful bag truly. I get compliments on it regularly and get asked often where I got it. Excuse all those scuffs, I use this bag DAILY. It is my everyday work bag. To give you an idea, I spent a couple years working in an office but also a little over a year working in the field with the gas company. So construction sites, lunches in the truck, rain, etc. It is leather, so all I've done is treat it for water, twice in all 3 years so I've been lax with that too. A little mink oil and it looks new again, but I wanted you to see the damage I've imparted. The handles are in great shape, they've held up, as have the rings and attachment junctions. The shoulder strap I use everyday, so the handles haven't had AS much use. There's one spot where the black trim on one handle has rubbed off a little. But those clips where shoulder strap attaches and the half ring it attaches to are in perfect shape. They have a spin mechanism on the clip, it still moves very smoothly. Zippers also GREAT, pull smoothly. It fits all my junk and has organization for my pens, keeps my paperwork smooth without wrinkles, I think you can see in the video my little make up bag, that fits too. As well as my 14" ThinkPad laptop, charging chord and small mouse. Which I've dropped this bag a few times, and no issues. The pockets haven't torn. I can't say honestly say how impressed and over satisfied I am with this bags quality and durability. Sorry it's such a mess in there with the video, yes I know it needs a cleaning. I just wanted to update my original review (below). I have now had this bag for almost a year and I am still obsessed with it (and so is every other person that sees it). I take it everywhere with me. It fits everything I need - wallet, laptop, 70 page 11x8.5 sketch book, Bose headphones (in their big, bulky case), phone charger, computer charger, lipstick, chapstick - the list goes on an on. But it never looks bulky. I get so many compliments. I teach at a university and it looks very professional. I also travel a lot for conferences so this bag has been all over the world. It has a handful of scratches at this point from other people being more aggressive than necessary with it, but it still looks amazing. I would buy this bag again in a heartbeat. ______________________________________________________ I've had this bag for a month and love it. It's the perfect size. I typically carry my (large) wallet, laptop, and a thick spiral notebook at all times with smaller random things in all of the many compartments (I love being able to have a slot for everything). When I go on long trips there is still plenty of room to add 1-2 books, my laptop charger, phone charger, and still have room (plus it never looks like I've overfilled it and I always seem to have room for more). I get so many compliments on it. I teach at a university so compliments come from older colleagues, other graduate students, and younger undergraduate students. It is perfect for the professional look (I plan to take it to conferences where I will be wearing a suit) but also looks good with jeans and a nice top. I couldn't have asked for a better bag. As for the seller - incredible as well. I contacted them with a question about the strap (there was a small snag in the strap). They responded immediately and sent me a new strap. Great customer service and went above and beyond making sure I was happy with every aspect of the bag, which I am. Read more

This is my first Amazon review but I feel compelled to leave one on this bag. I've been looking for a briefcase for a long time and I finally decided on this one. So glad it did - it is really beautiful. My main concerns were size, leather and weight and while I wanted to go with leather I was worried that it would be too heavy. I also wanted to have plenty of room and pockets but not in a bag that was super wide or thick. This bag is beautiful...the color is rich and the darker stain around the stitching on the front is really striking. It has plenty of rooms and pockets and the inner laptop section is padded to not create too much disturbance on the laptop. It is actually shorter in length and thinner in width than my prior bag and that's despite having three zipped compartments. The bag is only 3.6 pounds --- and for real leather! This would get heavy carrying it around with a laptop inside but its not heavier than my prior nylon bag - any bag gets heavy on your shoulder for too long. When I opened the box, I immediately thought - wait, did I buy this in tan or black? It came in a nice black Banuce dust bag...and when I opened it I got a whiff of nice, real leather. Seems so rare anymore to have full leather options that do not cost a mint. The price was the icing on the cake - I got this for $168 - and for what I got, it was a real bargain.
