Rather easy to set up. Since I use it for painting at my desk I used 3M double sided foam tape to hold it in place. Provides excellent light for my needs especially how close to the source I'm working at. They shed alot of light but I'd recommend starting with the 2 pack and seeing how many more you'll need if you're using them to illuminat a garage,shed,or other larger workspace. As just a normal light source I'd give them 5 stars but I bought them specially for painting and the 4 star review is due to the lights leaving weird shadows on my canvas boards when I try to photograph them with my phone.
