I highly recommend these bassinet mattress covers. Please note that they only cover the top portion of the mattress. I appreciate that they wrap around the mattress securely. I have not encountered any issues with staining and find these covers to be highly reliable. The package includes two covers, which facilitates easy replacement and laundry. These covers appear to be a standard size, with no noise when in use. They lay fairly flat; however, since they are slightly larger than my bassinet mattress, there is a minimal overlap. Nonetheless, I would still recommend using these covers with a bassinet sheet to eliminate overlap and ensure a flat surface. I have not observed any unpleasant odors.
