We recently updated a few of our bathrooms, and my husband needed a shower niche for his. Since his bathroom has brushed nickel fixtures, this one was the perfect match. This shower niche was a good choice for a newly remodeled bathroom. It is on the larger side, and has a shelf for various size bathroom soaps and shampoos. The metal appears to be a full 304 stainless, but only time will tell. The welds were a bit spotty, but it was easy to conceal. Overall, for the quality it is a good value. Read more

This is a really nice shower niche and works great with the bathroom we're renovating. It's huge -- the 2+ feet of height is very impressive and I can't imagine a shampoo bottle that wouldn't fit with room to spare. It also has an integrated bottom shelf for things like soap or razors. It's a somewhat spartan style, unadorned and austere, but the surface gleams brightly and it's visually striking enough that we're planning to do bright chrome for our other fixtures as well to ensure everything matches (we already have a shower head that's practically mirrored, so that works). The picture in the ad looks very dull chrome, in real life it's brighter. Very happy with this niche; at least my wife won't be asking me to tile the back like with the last one. Read more

The shelf has three weld spots that are open from behind the shelf and the back side in the wall allowing water and moisture to get behind the wall and causing water damage. Looks great and the size is perfect but this weld defect makes this item a bad choice for a shower or a wet place which is what I bought it for. Going to have to take it off the wall and make the nitch with tile. I don’t recommend this for a shower or bathroom in general. Read more

Oh, boy! This looks gorgeous out of the box. I am building a new house and this will go into the master bath. I think my tile guy will be out next week to do the work, and I will get lots of pics at that time. This niche is heavy and sturdy and will look very good installed in a shower or bath. I like the added shelves since that is what I was looking for in a niche as opposed to just a large opening without shelves. Definitely a good buy! Read more
