The Batpower power bank has proven to be very capable. In testing, I was able to charge my Pixel 3xl from under 20% to full charge three times and then 50% charge once before it ran out of juice. It also work well to charge my Lenova Yoga 12 notebook from almost dead to full charge in about four hours, however, when connected the Batpower unit, I was able to power on and use the notebook within less than twenty minutes form being essentially dead. The Batpower is a bit heavy (unavoidable for a unit of this type) but is sleek and comes with a storage bag. My only real complaint is that the "manual" (it barely qualifies for that term) is only marginally helpful and the port marking on the unit could certainly be improved. Clearer instructions on the use of the unit would be very much appreciated. As the COVID-19 pandemic has made us cancel our travel plans, I have not had an opportunity to verify that I would be able to fly with it in my carry-on luggage. One of the main reasons I chose this unit is that it is one of the very few that comes with a cable for the proprietary Lenovo charging port. Read more

Unfortunately, I cannot review the product specifically but only the overall experience. I asked in the question section on Amazon if this would work with my laptop. BatPower answered and said it would. I purchased it and could not get it to work. This was my first time purchasing a power bank, so I wasn't sure if it was a product issue or a user issue. The user's manual did not include instructions for my laptop model. I reached out to customer service and asked if they could please tell me how to make sure I was using it properly. They didn't. They had me try to charge another device (which it did) but wouldn't give me instructions on how to use the power bank with my computer. The only solution they offered was mailing me another cord to use to connect the devices. Once I received it, I tried again and it would not work. This time I emailed customer service instead of chatting. All they wanted to do was possibly replace the unit. I had to ask two more times to please just be given step by step instructions before I received a YouTube link to a tutorial for the wrong model. At this point, I decided to give up and return the device. If you are certain this is the power bank you need and are comfortable with power banks, I imagine this would be a reasonable purchase. But if you aren't positive of the model compatibility or anticipate needing any help whatsoever, I would not recommend this company. I subsequently reached out to the manufacturer of my laptop, and they matched me to a power bank for my model in under ten minutes for about the same price. Read more

I liked the size and weight of this item compared to other options, but after a couple of uses that didn't seem to last long enough, I measured it and only got 1.5H out of it on a thinkpad that was only using 26W at the time I was using it (measured with a pro-meter). At that rate, it should have lasted around 5H. Maybe some of the cells I got in it, went bad. It just charged way too quickly too (just 1H) The other downside is that it's missing a precise meter. It only has 4 LEDs and you're supposed to guess how much runtime you'll get from it until it suddenly shuts off. Read more

It seems I'm always working from locations that have a good Internet connection but little AC outlets. This portable power source fills the need. The instructions are minimal, but the operation is intuitive. Read more
