So far so good, during the snow last year my kid wore it and it kept his face and head warm. He's fairly average for the age of three and apparently he can continue wearing it up until eight but you will definitely get a lot of use of it in the extreme cold if he's going out in the snow and so forth. It's soft for sure and he is not bothered by it and a hat can easily fit over it or his hood. Recommended for any toddlers in snow. Read more

I guess this really does fit anywhere from 2 to 8 years old supposedly but this does fit a little bit younger than two years old as well, not necessarily covering the mouth and nose, but it fits the head nicely, and the other part rests under the baby‘s chin. I would definitely recommend getting this if you are going somewhere cold with an under two-year-old. Read more
