I am very happy with these mittens. My 4-year-old grandson has trouble getting his fingers into gloves, so I bought him these mittens. My daughter where's these for playing in the snow mostly. They stay in place so we'll amd she rarely gets snow in them past her wrist. I pull them over her coat and scrunch the cord, my husband puts them under the coat so they do work both ways just a little bulky under. We bought these mittens twice for my daughter for outdoor life for the 6+ months of the year we have winter here in Alaska. Little kids can put these mittens on themselves after their coats are on, which is surprisingly critical when it comes to little kids playing outside. They are waterproof ENOUGH for when it warms up enough for the snow to get wet. Peers have more expensive gloves of this same design (waterproof and over the jacket cuff) but made from super durable materials that would probably last through many children and those gloves cost a lot more money. These gloves lasted my daughter for 2+ years and are worn but still functional. She would still wear them but is older and prefers gloves now. 🥲 They do run big but lasted long enough for her to grow into.
