This mattress topper has helped the comfort level of my firm guest bed mattress and gives it a more cozy and snuggly feeling, though does not detract from the support. It will not "fix" a saggy or deteriorated mattress, however. It does take a few hours to expand but is not hard to fit to the mattress once that occurs. The provided cover is nice and reasonably waterproof (though not entirely). However, I found it to sleep very hot thanks to the polyester fiber and occlusive nature; I prefer a cotton covered mattress pad for that reason, though then I would have to sacrifice the waterproofness of it. Purchased for a grandchild who still has occasional night time accidents. Out the the package this might freak you out. It's kind of a mess. Give it a couple of hours and it completely straightens out and plumps up. The purple pad is thick and works good for a child. The size is plenty big and securely fits the edges. The top pad is comfortable and it does keep the moisture away. My grand child thought it was comfortable and likes sleeping on it. I do think it is way overpriced at $60. The BDEUS Twin Size Dual Layer Memory Foam Mattress Topper is the best of both worlds; a mattress topper and a waterproof mattress protector. Don't judge it too harshly when you 1st remove it from its packaging. Like most foam, it'll likely take a few hours for it to plump up to full thickness. The waterproof mattress topper has a strap to keep the 1.5" foam in place. The cover is machine washable and accommodates a deep mattress. The foam and the cover can both be used independently or together. While the price is a little steep, considering this is basically a 2-n-1 product, I don't feel it's unreasonable. It's nice knowing that the mattress is protected from bodily fluids and other liquids. All in all, I am satisfied with this mattress topper and protector in one. I ordered this after I slept in my kids bed and was so uncomfortable. This made a great improvement. It is a tiny touch long so I guess it could fit on a twin xl as well as a twin. I love that the cover that came with it is waterproof as we are still occasionally in that stage. The holes allow air flow for warmer sleepers. Read more

This memory foam mattress topper is easy to install. It isn’t as soft as I was expecting it to be. You don’t sink into it but it does give you nice support. It is very well made but it is a little expensive for what it and its size. The first night I slept on it I had terrible back pain and it didn’t help relieve the pain. The next few nights it helped when I was just sore. It doesn’t hold heat and it adds about an inch to your mattress. Read more
